Premier League betting tips for Saturday 14 September 2019

Liverpool v Newcastle

Kick-off: 12:30pm (BST) Saturday 14 September 2019

Where to watch live on TV in the UK: BT Sport 1 / BT Sport Ultimate

Venue: Anfield, Liverpool

With a 100% win rate, Liverpool have got off to yet another flying start this season.  They are showing no signs of nerves or complacency, and you just know they will push City all the way again this season.

Newcastle have only managed one win so far this season, and even though it was a huge shock when they beat Spurs away from home, Steve Bruce has yet to inject a spark into the way the Magpies play.

We expect nothing but a thrashing at Anfield on Saturday to kick off the weekend’s Premier League return.

Correct score prediction: 3-0 (Best odds: 25/4 with Sportingbet)

Acca selection: Liverpool home win (Best odds: 2/13 with Coral)

Man United v Leicester

Kick-off: 3:00pm (BST) Saturday 14 September 2019

Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester

United will again be without key forward Anthony Martial, who has arguably been the most promising player in United colours this season.

United return from the international break off the back of a string of terrible results against teams they’d really expect to have beaten.

Leicester on the other hand have won their last two.  They convincingly beat Bournemouth last time out, where they shut them out only allowing the opposition to take two shots on target. At the other end, Jamie Vardy looked sharp and rejuvenated under the new boss.

A thriving Leicester who continue to grow in confidence and work harder as a team each game, should have too much for a stumbling United this weekend.

Correct score prediction: 1-2 (Best odds: 14/1 with 10Bet)

Acca selection: Leicester away win (Best odds: 33/1 enhanced odds with 888Sport)

Sheffield United v Southampton

Kick-off: 3:00pm (BST) Saturday 14 September 2019

Venue: Bramall Lane, Sheffield

Sheffield United have looked really promising so far this season.  Last time out they impressively held Chelsea to a score draw away at Stamford Bridge.  They looked threatening up front and worked hard for their deserved point.

Southampton, whilst looking brave in defence, have looked poor up front, lacking a forward the manager can rely on.  To win at home to United last weekend, after going a man down halfway through the second half, was impressive to say the least.  However, we think Sheffield United will be confident they can take the 3 points at home.

Correct score prediction: 1-0 (Best odds: 7/1 with Betfred)

Acca selection: Sheffield United home win (Best odds: 6/4 with Sportingbet)

Wolves v Chelsea

Kick-off: 3:00pm (BST) Saturday 14 September 2019

Venue: Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton

Chelsea have dominated most of their games this season, and have been unlucky not to take away the three points on multiple occasions.

Lampard plays a dominate possession-based game which requires patience and clinical finishing up front.  Tammy Abraham has now got his season off to a start, scoring in both his last two starts.

Wolves look to be affected by their Europa league commitments already this season. They didn’t build their squad enough during the summer, and will likely pay the price when it comes to the league.

Correct score prediction: 0-2 (Best odds: 12/1 with Bwin)

Acca selection: Chelsea away win (Best odds: 6/4 with Royal Panda)
